Connection with X5 devices
For the Bluetooth GNSS connection, remember to pair the X5 with your mobile device in the system settings. The name of the Bluetooth signal is represented by the device model (X5R, X5RT, X5M or X5M Pro) followed by the MAC address (which are 4 digits in hexadecimal), for example: X5R 34AD. Once paired the app will detect the X5 in the available devices list.
- Make sure your NET led is blinking indicating Bluetooth availability.
- Select the X5 Device on the Bluetooth GNSS connection list.
- Select the "Mettatec X5" instrument model.
- Make sure to click the checkbox if you need to "Log to file" the RAW data to a UBX file.
- Insert the instrument height in meters.
- Click "Connect" to start Bluetooth connection, now you can go to the GNSS Status option for more information about the actual state of your X5 Device.
